Our commitment to COVID-19 coverage
Pre-trip
You bought Faye travel insurance and contract COVID-19, resulting in you having to cancel your upcoming trip.
100% of your non-refundable trip costs will be covered, up to your estimated total trip cost (your policy limit).
FYI: during the purchase process, we ask you for your estimated total trip cost. What can be covered:
- Flight tickets
- Hotel bookings
- Show & activity tickets
You’ve bought Faye travel insurance + our Cancel For Any Reason add-on and are afraid to contract COVID-19 while traveling, so you decide to cancel your trip.
75% of your non-refundable trip expenses can be covered because you purchased the CFAR add-on.
This add-on gives you the ability to nix your trip for reasons other than those covered in your policy (such as fear of contracting COVID-19), as long as you do so at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled departure date. What can be covered:
- Flight tickets
- Hotel bookings
- Show & activity tickets
In-trip
You’ve unfortunately contracted COVID-19 during your trip.
Up to $250K for international travel and up to $50k for domestic travel in emergency medical expenses.
If you experience illness in-trip, you can be covered for up to $250K for international travel and up to $50k for domestic travel in emergency medical expenses. Your trip interruption expenses can also be covered and our customer experience team will be available 24/7 to help you - whether it’s finding a doctor or a pharmacy.

Your travel partner has unfortunately contracted COVID-19 during your trip.
Unused prepaid expenses can be covered.
If your travel partner becomes ill with COVID-19 while in-trip, you can be covered for your unused prepaid expenses (like hotels, tours, shows, etc.) as well as the costs to change your transportation to come home earlier or later than expected.
