COVID-19
Treated like any other illness defined in our plan (see emergency medical expenses)
If you become ill with COVID-19, our plan can cover non-refundable trip cancellation costs, emergency medical expenses and quarantine accommodation costs.
Emergency medical expenses
Up to $250K for international trips (primary)
If you experience sudden illness or injury in-trip, including COVID-19, we can cover prescription drugs, hospitalization and physician costs.
Emergency medical evacuation
Up to $500K per person
Coverage of transportation in the case of illness or injury that is acute, severe or life threatening when adequate medical treatment is not available in the immediate area.

Trip cancellation
Up to 100% of non-refundable trip costs.
If you need to cancel your trip for covered reasons, including if you get sick, contract COVID-19 or a travel provider goes bankrupt. We can cover flights, hotel bookings, tickets and activities. See more covered reasons for trip cancellation.
Trip delay
Up to $300/day, and a max of $2.1K per trip, for delays of more than 6 hours
When you’re stranded in transit due to reasons outside of your control such as flight delay or theft of passport.
Trip interruption
Up to 150% of your non-refundable trip costs, including additional transportation expenses
When you must unexpectedly cut your trip short or extend it for covered reasons, including if you contract COVID-19.
Pre-existing medical conditions
Coverage for trip cancellations or trip interruptions
Trip cancellations or trip interruptions related to pre-existing conditions can be covered, if you purchase your plan within 14 days of your initial trip deposit (e.g., flights, hotel, etc.) and are medically fit to travel when you buy your plan.
Trip inconvenience & snafus
$200 per trip inconvenience, capped at $600 per trip
When you’re inconvenienced during your trip due to an eligible flight delay, flight cancellation, delay at security or late hotel arrival.
Missed connections
Up to $200, plus $100 if you experience a delay of 6+ consecutive hours.
Coverage of up to $200 if you miss a trip departure because you were delayed for 3 consecutive hours due to covered reasons including flight delay/cancellation, plane mechanical breakdown, inclement weather, strike and more.
Non-medical emergency evacuation
Up to $100K
When, due to a covered event, you’re transported from a place of danger to a place of safety. A covered event includes a natural disaster, political or security evacuation.

Up to $2K total per trip
Reimbursement for lost, stolen or damaged luggage, including clothing, personal items and professional equipment like a phone or laptop.

Trip add-ons Add-ons for your trip
We offer a robust, custom plan so you’re not over or underinsured, or paying for things you simply don’t need. It includes your trip, your health and your stuff. You can also supplement your plan with add-ons for even more protection.
Rental car care
Up to $50K
Coverage in the event of accidental damage to your rental car like collision, vandalism, natural disaster or theft related to your rental car.
Cancel for any reason
Up to 75% of non-refundable trip costs
The ability to nix your trip for reasons other than those covered in your plan’s trip cancellation coverage, including fear of contracting COVID-19, as long as you purchase this coverage within 14 days of your initial trip deposit and cancel at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled departure date.
Pet care
Up to $2.5K in veterinary expenses & $250 for kenneling
Coverage of veterinary expenses if you take your furry friend along (including pet sickness or injury) or kenneling costs if you arrive back home later than expected.
Vacation rental damage protection
Up to $3K
Coverage if you unintentionally damage the vacation rental property you’re staying in or its contents, while in-trip.
Adventure & extreme sports
Up to $250K (international trips) or $50K (domestic trips) for accidental & sickness expenses
Medical and transportation coverage if you become injured while participating in an adventure or extreme sport, like skydiving, bungee jumping, motocross or free diving.
