What we’re looking for:
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team and help us build innovative, user-centric products that set new standards in the travel insurance tech industry.
You will play a pivotal role in the development of our products, making a meaningful impact in a fun, and collaborative environment. You will work closely with our Head of Product Design and various stakeholders to bring creative and practical design solutions to life, and lead and own the product design within your own product squad.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Create wireframes, user flows and user journeys to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all products.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the user experience continually.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience as a product designer for web and mobile apps, specifically for B2C or B2B2C environments.
- Familiarity with the USA market, with an understanding of their unique design preferences and needs.
- Design / visual communication degree - a must
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong portfolio showcasing pixel-perfect design and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent grasp of user-centered design principles, prioritizing user needs and preferences throughout the design process.
- Experience in motion design and creating animations to enhance user experience.
- Proficiency in creating prototypes and running user interviews tests to gather valuable insights and optimize user experience.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and the rationale behind them.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
